Career Consulting Partners, a boutique plaintiff-side personal injury firm in Mid-Wilshire, Los Angeles, seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to own cases from filing through settlement or trial. The role emphasizes premises liability with opportunities to manage discovery, depositions, and MSCs.

The ideal candidate has a California bar license and 5+ years of plaintiff PI experience, with strong drafting and communication skills.

Formación

• Active license in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• 5+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong command of California Civil Procedure and discovery rules.
• Proven ability to draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and meet-and-confer letters.
• Capable of independently managing caseloads in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong organization.
• Trial experience is a plus, not required.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage an active caseload of plaintiff PI matters and devise case strategies.
• Draft and file complaints, pleadings, motions, and oppositions.
• Oversee written discovery; propound, review responses, and prepare client answers.
• Meet and confer with opposing counsel; prepare/argue motions to compel.
• Prepare clients for depositions and conduct/defend depositions.
• Maintain clear client communications on status and strategy.
• Manage litigation calendars, court appearances, and discovery deadlines per CA rules.
• Collaborate with case managers, paralegals, pre-litigation staff, and lien negotiators.
• Advance matters toward settlement, mediation, or trial.
