Job summary

Greenberg Gross LLP in Chicago seeks an experienced paralegal to support one-on-one with an assigned attorney, becoming a trusted right hand in the team.

The role focuses on drafting pleadings and discovery, managing case files, conducting legal research, and preparing for depositions, hearings, and witness interviews. Occasional overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plaintiff litigation experience; employment litigation experience a plus.
• Proficiency in legal research tools, eDiscovery, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

We are looking for an experienced paralegal who is passionate about their work, detail oriented, high follow-through, and has a through understanding of how the legal process works. Our paralegals work one-to-one with their assigned attorney, so you get a great opportunity to become your attorney's right hand.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings and discovery documents
• Manage case files, including electronic discovery review and production
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and witness interviews

• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Perform other duties as assigned
