Job summary

Therapeutic Associates seeks a part-time Physical Therapist to join our Tukwila team, working in a collaborative primary care model. You will build relationships with patients, evaluate and manage musculoskeletal conditions, and contribute to a larger medical team focused on shared wellbeing initiatives.

You will thrive in a community owned by PTs, with a two-year PT Cohort program and structured leadership paths.

Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapist license.
  • 4+ years of clinical experience.
  • OCS and/or NAIOMT certification preferred.
  • Commitment to top quality patient care.
  • Eagerness to develop your skills and support your team members as they develop their skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates physical and functional status to determine the patient's capabilities to function (safely) notes.
  • Documents all evaluations, treatment, and coordination of care contacts per facility policies.
  • Demonstrates ability to treat a wide range of diagnoses with current therapy treatments, goals, and contraindications.
  • Provides education and counseling to patient/family/providers regarding treatments and goals, safety risks and issues within scope of practice.
  • Independently manages own caseload to maximize effectiveness of overall care plan.
  • Complies with all applicable laws and facility policies.
  • Supports special projects and other designated activities for Therapeutic Associates.
  • Works collaboratively with care team members (MD/PA/RN/psychologist/nutritionist) to drive MSK care.

Here's how you will make an impact

  • Evaluates physical and functional status, as well as cognitive, psychological, and perceptual ability to determine the patient's capabilities to function (safely)
  • Documents all evaluations, treatment, and coordination of care contacts via appropriate facility policies
  • Demonstrates an ability to treat a wide range of diagnoses and be knowledgeable in current therapy treatments, goals, and contraindications for treatment
  • Provides education and counseling to patient/family/clients/providers regarding treatments and goals, potential safety risks and/or other issues within scope of practice
  • Independently manages own case load to maximize effectiveness of overall care plan
  • Complies with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, and requirements, as well as facility/agency specific policies and procedures.
  • Supports special projects and other designated activities as assigned in support of TAI's mission and core values
  • Works collaboratively with care team members to include but not limited to, MD, PA, RN, Behavioral Psychologist, Health Coach, Nutritionist, Care Management, etc.
  • Responsible to managing and driving MSK care within Care Team

What you will need to bring to the table

  • Active Physical Therapist license
  • 4+ years of clinical experience

  • OCS and/or NAIOMT certification preferred

Physical Therapist base compensation is $50.00-$55.00/hour+ depending on experience and fit .
