Job summary

EGA Associates, LLC is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to collect blood and other samples from patients with a focus on safety, accuracy, and exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and experience working with diverse patient populations.

The role requires at least four years of phlebotomy experience, current BLS, and ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting. On-site schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a pay range of $24.24–$26 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of phlebotomy experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Phlebotomy certification from a recognized accrediting organization preferred.
• Experience performing venipuncture and capillary collection.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and laboratory information systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures on patients of various ages.
• Identify patients and verify specimen collection requirements.
• Label, process, and prepare specimens for testing and transport.
• Maintain specimen integrity through proper handling, storage, and transportation.
• Explain collection procedures to patients and alleviate concerns.
