Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a skilled phlebotomist to join our local team in Brandon, FL. The role is a short-term contract, with a schedule Wed-Fri 6A-3P and Sat 6:30A-3:00P, at a Brandon location. You will perform venipuncture, label and process specimens, and ensure accuracy in test requisitions.

Requires high school diploma or GED and 3–5 years phlebotomy experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay within the stated range.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture, label and process specimens.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Prepare specimens: label, centrifuge, split, and freeze as required.
• Verify test requisitions match labels and documentation.
• Package and transport specimens; maintain proper storage temperatures.
