Overview

We are hiring a Phlebotomist-I to support our client’s medical facility based in Wimauma, FL, 33598. This is a contract position with a possible extension opportunity. This range is provided by Pride Health. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Location & Schedule

Location: Wimauma, FL 33598

Schedule: Monday‑Friday 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (40 hrs/week)

Base Pay Range

$17.75 /hr – $19.75 /hr (offered rate based on education, experience, healthcare credentials).

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood sampling with precision and care.
• Ensure proper identification of patients before blood collection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to laboratory procedures and safety protocols.
• Accurately label and document specimens for testing in accordance with medical terminology standards.
• Label, process, and transport blood specimens accurately and efficiently in compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA standards.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months of experience (required).
• One year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.
