Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience with venipuncture proficiency.
• Phlebotomy certification as required by state regulations and employment location.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and blood draws safely and efficiently.
• Collect, label, and store specimens per procedures and test requirements.
• Explain venipuncture procedures to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Verify patient and test information against requisitions and labels.
• Package specimens for transport with proper temperature control and documentation.
