Job summary

Lonza in Bend, Oregon is seeking an Experienced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician to join the Early Phase Clinical Manufacturing team. The role is site-based and relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and families.

Responsibilities include operating GMP manufacturing equipment, supporting technology transfer and process improvements, and ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and production processes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

  • Manufacture clinical trial materials in accordance with approved GMP procedures and quality standards.
  • Operate, clean, troubleshoot, and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment.
  • Serve as an equipment owner and support equipment lifecycle, qualification, and maintenance activities.
  • Support technology transfer, process optimization, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Analyze manufacturing data and provide technical insights to support project objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain GMP documentation, including procedures, reports, and training materials.
  • Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
