Job summary

Bark & Mane of Elk Grove and Rancho Cordova is hiring an experienced professional groomer who loves pets and providing one-on-one care in a mobile salon.

Earn $250–$400 per day, including commission and 100% tips for grooming 4–6 dogs daily. Enjoy flexible schedules, luxury Mercedes‑Benz mobile salons, and paid holidays. Certification and growth opportunities are provided to enhance your credentials.

Qualifications

• Professional pet grooming experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to groom a variety of breeds safely and efficiently.
• Strong pet handling skills and knowledge of animal behavior.
• Strong customer service skills; sales experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
• Open to continuous learning and feedback as part of a team.
• No degree required—we value grooming skill, experience and passion for pets.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized, one‑on‑one grooming services in a safe, cage‑free environment.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and build trusted relationships with pet parents.
• Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, nails, ears, sanitary trims and de‑shedding.
• Complete the Bark & Mane Well‑Being WrapUp with wellness observations and recommendations.
• Educate pet parents on coat maintenance and the benefits of recurring grooming.
• Work independently while supported by in‑house concierge and fleet teams for scheduling and communication.
• Maintain a clean, organized, professional mobile salon environment.
