AdventHealth in Maitland, Florida, seeks a Registered Nurse to support quality standards and deliver comprehensive nursing care on a full-time day shift. The role emphasizes learning, mentoring, and advancing nursing skills within the unit.

Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing with BLS/ACLS certification; 2+ years in PCU/ICU preferred. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential to provide holistic patient care and safety.

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments incorporating physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual factors.
• Delivers nursing interventions based on diagnoses and care plans.
• Sets measurable goals and implements individualized plans of care.
• Follows up to evaluate and adjust care plans as needed.

Job Description

• Supports quality standards and initiatives set by the department, exhibiting a desire to learn, teach, mentor, and advance nursing skills.

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• At least 2 years of current PCU or ICU Registered Nurse experience [Preferred]

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• Ability to work as a Team player within a unit
• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills
• EKG (based on patient population; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements)

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

Pay Range

Pay Range: $33.08 - $58.04
