Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Electronics Assembler in Valencia, CA for a contract-to-hire role. The position involves PCB assembly, testing, and rework in an electronics manufacturing environment.

You will perform burn-in, manual soldering, and ensure adherence to IPC or military standards while collaborating with engineering on prototypes. The role requires strong attention to detail, reading blueprints and drawings, and the ability to work in a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in the PCB industry.
• Ability to read IPC standards, blueprints, schematics.
• Experience with PCB burn-in and testing.
• Able to lift 10–20 lbs occasionally.
• English communication proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCB test and assembly to quality standards.
• Carry out PCB burn-in tests and subassembly work.
• Solder and rework PCBs per IPC/military specs.
• Document activities in traveler logs.
• Collaborate with engineering on prototypes and feedback.
• Clarify drawings and parts lists with engineering.
• Follow procedures and maintain clean work area.
