We are seeking a motivated and experienced Paving Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in preparing, laying, and finishing paving surfaces to ensure durable, high-quality results. General Accountabilities

• Assist in the preparation of job sites by clearing debris, setting up barriers, and ensuring proper grading for paving operations
• Operate and maintain paving equipment such as rollers, compactors, and hand tools with precision and safety awareness
• Spread, level, and finish asphalt or concrete surfaces according to project specifications and industry standards
• Assist in concrete and stone flatwork projects
• Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
• Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to OSHA guidelines
• Conduct quality checks throughout the paving process to identify and correct issues promptly
• Support the team in loading and unloading materials, tools, and supplies as needed to keep projects moving efficiently

Job Qualifications

• Proven experience as a paving laborer or similar construction role with a strong understanding of paving techniques and materials
• Knowledge in concrete and masonry
• Ability to operate basic construction and paving equipment safely and effectively
• Physical stamina to perform demanding manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials and standing for long durations
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and productivity
• Valid driver’s license preferred; familiarity with construction site safety regulations required
• Basic knowledge of asphalt and concrete installation processes is highly desirable
