Methodist Medical Group in North Texas is seeking a board-certified Palliative Care APP to join our interdisciplinary team. This opportunity emphasizes inpatient consultations for seriously ill patients, family discussions, and close collaboration with nursing, social work, and case management.

To support the continued growth and strategic staffing plans we are seeking to recruit a dedicated, patient-focused physician to join our growing team. This exceptional opportunity is well-suited for a APP who thrives in a collaborative medical group environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient only palliative care consultations for hospitalized patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses


• Lead and participate in family meetings and goals-of-care discussions


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing, social work, chaplaincy, and case management


• Support transitions of care, including coordination with hospice when appropriate


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant


• Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)


• Texas DEA


• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
