Position Overview

The Painting and Coating Laborer applies paint, varnishes, and other coatings to various materials, surfaces, and pipes. The role involves outdoor work in industrial construction settings, assisting with industrial cleaning, site cleanup, and preparation, always maintaining a safety-first approach. Use of hand tools is required, and candidates must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions or in unheated/unair-conditioned buildings.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Apply coatings to materials, surfaces, and pipes.
• Assist in cleaning, site cleanup, and preparation tasks.
• Load, unload, clean, and shovel materials.
• Organize inventory and equipment.
• Participate in safety training, identify hazards, wear PPE, and promote a safety culture.
• Maintain company equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in industrial painting and coatings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
