Qualifications

  • Registered Veterinary Technician credential or a minimum of two years of hands-on veterinary technician experience.
  • Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, and laboratory diagnostics.
  • Knowledge of preventive care and vaccines.
  • Excellent communication and client-service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Safely handle and restrain patients with compassion and confidence.
  • Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection.
  • Obtain diagnostic radiographs and perform in-house laboratory testing.
  • Assist with surgery and monitor anesthesia.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines as directed.
  • Triage patients and assist with urgent and emergency cases.
  • Educate clients on preventive care, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
  • Work closely with veterinarians and teammates to provide exceptional patient care.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do
