Job summary

University of Washington Medical Center Montlake is seeking an Experienced Surgical RN to circulate and scrub for complex surgical procedures in a high-acuity operating room. A night shift differential of $5.00 per hour is provided, with 90% FTE and 10–12 hour shifts across all days, including some call shifts.

Responsibilities include pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, instrument management, patient advocacy, and maintaining sterile technique.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years current general OR nursing experience with circulating in a variety of clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care for surgical patients, including preparing the surgical site and equipment.
• Assist surgeons during operations by providing instruments and managing patient needs, and monitoring patient recovery.
• Act as a patient advocate, maintain a sterile environment, coordinate with the healthcare team, and provide patient education for recovery.
• BLS and minimum of 2 years current general OR nursing experience with circulating in a variety of clinical settings required. Scrub experience is desired but not required.
