Job summary

UofL Health – Jewish Hospital is seeking Experienced Operating Room RNs to join our procedural and surgical services teams in Louisville, Kentucky. Positions are available across the Cath Lab, CVOR, and Main OR, offering opportunities to care for diverse patient populations using the nursing process and evidence-based practices.

As an OR RN you will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to deliver safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital OR RN experience.
• Current KY RN licensure or compact license.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS may be required for specific areas.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to patients of varying age groups using the nursing process and standards.
• Collaborate with care team to improve quality and safety of patient care.
• Participate in the care team and apply evidence-based practices to outcomes.
