Job summary

The Freeman Corporation is seeking an experienced Operator / Skilled Utility for the Winchester, KY area on the 2nd shift. You will operate forklifts, loaders, cranes, and related equipment, supporting veneer production on a fast-paced team.

This full-time role emphasizes safety, reliability, and readiness to adapt to changing production needs. Pay is hourly, with overtime opportunities and pay reviews after 90 days and again after six months.

Full Time Winchester, Kentucky, Winchester, KY, US

Salary Range: $17.00 To $19.00 Hourly

Have experience operating industrial equipment such as forklifts, loaders, or cranes? The Freeman Corporation is looking for experienced workers to join our second-shift production team in Winchester.

As a Skilled Utility employee, you’ll put your equipment operation and material-handling skills to work supporting veneer manufacturing. We’re looking for people who work safely, take pride in doing the job well, and can adapt to changing production needs.

What you’ll do

• Operate assigned industrial equipment safely, following required training and authorization
• Assist in different production areas as needs change
• Follow operating procedures and quality requirements
• Identify and report equipment problems or unsafe conditions
• Keep your work area clean and organized

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience operating industrial equipment, such as cranes, loaders, or forklifts
• A safety-focused approach to equipment operation and material handling
• Dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a production team
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English sufficiently to understand safety information, follow job-related instructions, and complete safety documentation
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Must be at least 18 years old

Pay and benefits

• Second-shift, full-time employment - typically 4pm–12:30am with opportunities for overtime
• Opportunities for a pay review and potential increase within your first 90 days, again after six months, and periodically thereafter
