Job summary

TheKey is seeking a Weekend Caregiver to provide compassionate, in-home care in the Omaha, NE area. You will follow personalized care plans, assist with daily tasks, and ensure safety and dignity for the client.

Ideal candidates have weekend availability, caregiving experience, and a calm, empathetic approach. We value reliability, a valid license/vehicle, and ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability (Sat and/or Sun) required.
• Caregiving experience preferred.
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience preferred.
• Empathy, compassion, and kindness are essential.
• Ability to use sound judgment and stay calm in various situations.
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Able to pass a background check and provide references.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance; 19+.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional in-home care to the client.
• Execute personalized weekly schedules and care plans.
• Assist with personal care, mobility, incontinence, light housekeeping, meals.
• Maintain safety and client enjoyment at all times.
• Communicate clearly with the office team.
• Provide transportation to appointments as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

• Delivering exceptional care to the dedicated client in their home
• Help execute comprehensive personalized weekly schedules and care plans
• Assist with personal care activities to include personal hygiene, mobility assistance, incontinence care, light housekeeping, feeding and meal preparation
• Keep order, safety and client enjoyment top of mind at all times
• Clear and articulate comunication to the office team
• Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed

Qualifications

Required Skills, Education and Certifications:

• Availability to work weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) required
• Previous experience in Caregiving preferred
• Alzheimer's or Dementia experience preferred
• Adaptability, empathy, compassion, and kindness is a MUST
• Ability to use sound judgment and remain calm in a variety of situations
• Must be reliable, dependable, and on time
• Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Can pass a background check and provide references
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current car insurance, and 19 years or older
