THERAPY 2000 is seeking a licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our mission-driven team serving Texas families in home-based care.

You will evaluate clients, develop and implement therapy plans, and collaborate with caregivers and physicians to support each child's growth. We offer paid time off, medical/dental/vision coverage, mileage reimbursement, a company laptop, and opportunities for continuing education.

Qualificações

• Must hold an active Texas OT license.
• Demonstrated reliability and an innovative spirit.

• Bonus points for pediatric OT experience, home-health setting, or feeding therapy certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine therapy needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Collaborate with patients’ medical neighborhoods and coordinate care between providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
• Meet with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies, procedures and applicable laws.

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas.

Bonus points for:

• 3+ years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (high-risk infant, etc.)

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Occupational Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.

• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric occupational therapy.
