Job summary

The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our Radiology team, focusing on OB/GYN and general diagnostic ultrasound. The role requires independent work, sound clinical judgment, and compassionate patient care in a diverse population.

Candidates should have an accredited Sonography program graduate, ARDMS/ARRT certification, at least four years of experience, OB certification, and strong EHR/PACS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program.
• Associate degree in Sonography, Radiologic Sciences, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of four years of sonography experience.
• OB certification is required.
• Current ARDMS or ARRT certification meeting sonography and radiologic tech requirements.
• Proficient in abdominal and pelvic ultrasound and image optimization.
• Strong computer skills with EHR, PACS, and imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment following safety protocols.
• Perform OB/GYN and general ultrasound examinations with high-quality imaging.
• Review patient history and ensure medical necessity of orders.
• Document findings and communicate results to the interpreting radiologist.
• Maintain patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Operate and maintain PACS and imaging information systems.
