Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required and NICU experience.
• 1+ year NICU RN experience preferred; 0-2 years in clinical nursing acceptable.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Documents assessments and reports changes to care team.
• Administers medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code activities.
• Ensures infection control and safety protocols.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and discharge plans.
• Operates medical equipment and maintains accurate records.
