Description

• Utilize specialized skills developed through experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc.), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations to transport and safely deliver products.

• Load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) products for customers, averaging 3-10 stops per day.

• Inspect, document, and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.

• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Travel required: Yes

Environment

• Store: Freezer (-20F to 0F)

• Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

• Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge: DOT Certified, Class A Commercial Driver's License

• Special Skills: Must be at least 21 years old

• Physical Abilities: Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam

• Other: Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements

• Enjoy working with people: Focused on quality and customer service

• Compliance: Follow FMCSR/DOT/Company policies and procedures

Years Of Experience

• 1-2 years: Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience

• 1-2 years: Supporting a large Enterprise Storage environment

• 1-2 years: Recent applicable CMV experience or completion of an approved CDL truck driving school
