Job summary

R.H. White Construction is seeking a Millwright to install, maintain and repair piping and equipment in an industrial setting.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics to determine work procedures and the use of hoists and power tools for installation and maintenance. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5 years in mechanical trades, completion of the Millwright Apprenticeship program or equivalent certification, OSHA 10 certification, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical

Qualifications

• Requires reading blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical trades (plumbing, pipefitting, or other mechanical installation).
• Successful completion of the Millwright Apprenticeship program, Millwright certification through an accredited program, and/or applicable welding licenses.
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains and repairs piping and equipment according to layout plans and drawings.
• Uses hoists, lift trucks, hand-tools, and power tools to complete tasks.
• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
