Job summary

R.H. White Construction is seeking a Millwright Apprentice to assemble, install, repair, dismantle, or move equipment and piping across water, sanitary, gas and process systems.

Under Foremen supervision, you will align machinery, dismantle components, and cut/assemble piping using appropriate tools and techniques. The role requires an apprenticeship in a skilled mechanical trade, a high school diploma, and a minimum of 3 years in mechanical construction trades, with OSHA 10 certification or the

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship training in a skilled mechanical trade preferred.
• High School or Vocational High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in mechanical construction trades.
• OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all Company Safety Policies and Code of Conduct.
• Aligns machines and equipment under supervision using hoists, jacks and hand tools.
• Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools.
• Move machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers, cranes, trucks and other equipment.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine procedures.
• Cut and assemble piping materials (PVC, copper, iron) using cutting tools and torches.
• Join pipes by threading, solvent welding, soldering or cementing joints.
• Cut openings in walls/floors to fit pipe and secure with clamps/hangers.
