Job summary

West Fraser in Dudley, GA is seeking a seasoned Millwright Level 2 to maintain and repair industrial equipment, conveyors and machine centers in a heavy manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring a minimum of five years’ experience in industrial maintenance or an associated degree.

The candidate must read blueprints, be able to operate safely under pressure, and be willing to overtime and on-call to support operations.

Qualifications

• Must have cutting torch experience (Oxygen/Acetylene).
• Must have welding experience (GMAW and SMAW).
• Must have safety oriented and comply with ZES.
• Be willing to work overtime and to be on-call to support operations.
• Must possess 5 years of Millwright experience in Industrial/Manufacturing environment or Associates degree in Industrial Maintenance.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment including conveying systems and major machine centers.
• Read drawings and printed instructions; interpret layouts.
• Move machinery using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules and micrometers.
• Assemble and install equipment with hand and power tools.
• Disassemble machines and replace defective parts; adjust clearances.
