Honeycomb Management Group is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant Phlebotomist to support providers with direct patient care in a multi-location setting in Memphis, TN. The role requires strong medical terminology knowledge, patient-centered communication, and organizational abilities to maintain efficient clinics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• Five (5) years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant.
• Medical Assistant Certification through the AAMA or RMA via AMT.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and prepares medical records before patient exams.
• Assist with patient history and physical assessments; assist with exams and simple procedures.
• Check vital signs and document measurements.
• Prepare exam and treatment rooms; ensure sanitation and supplies.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for lab; prepare results for physician signature.
• Administer breathing treatments and injections, and perform EKGs.
• Answer calls and relay patient questions to the appropriate staff.
• Provide patient and family education within knowledge scope.
• Assist with scheduling referrals for treatments.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Perform lab duties and other clinical tasks as required.
