Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Front and Back Office Medical Assistant
• Medical Assistant Certification
• Proficiency using EHR software applications
• Bilingual in Spanish and/or Vietnamese
• Experience using EPIC

Responsibilities

• Taking medical histories and vital signs
• Reconciliation of medication lists
• Explaining treatment procedures to patients
• Preparing patients for examination (in-person and/or telehealth)
• Assisting the physician during exams
• Instructing patients about medication and diets
• Maintaining instruments and sterilization
• Updating and scanning patient records
• Billing and insurance form handling
• Providing coverage for other MAs as needed
