Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital in Mooresville, NC, seeks an Experienced Registered Nurse in Med Surg for day shifts. You will plan and provide professional nursing care, coordinate with physicians and families, and lead a nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care.

The role requires ADN or Nursing Diploma, NC RN licensure, and at least 12 months of clinical experience. Relocation assistance and a commitment bonus are offered where eligible.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
• Twelve months of appropriate clinical experience required.
• Must have current NC RN licensure; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, independently provide and document professional nursing care per physician orders and policies.
• Delegate tasks and supervise activities of other licensed and unlicensed staff; act as team leader.
• Assist other nursing personnel in care delivery and support staff development; participate in performance improvement.
