Job summary

LAUNCH is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Columbia, MO to support 2nd and 3rd shifts. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.

Strong electrical troubleshooting and PLC knowledge are required. The ideal candidate will read schematics, use testing equipment, and perform preventative maintenance on a range of production equipment, including heavy machinery such as lathes and welders, with a rotating schedule and

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot AC/DC electrical systems and read schematics.
• Proficiency with PLCs (Allen Bradley) and electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist entry-level mechanics with difficult repairs.
• Work under pressure to fix equipment and get it running again.
• Troubleshoot issues on a wide variety of equipment.
• Inspect machines and develop repair lists for short- and long-term fixes.
• Respond to maintenance calls and perform corrective actions.
