Job summary

Columbia Vehicle Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Second Shift Maintenance Technician to support safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility during the second shift. This role focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment, building systems, and facility infrastructure to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Technical training or industrial maintenance certification required.
Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
PLC troubleshooting experience required.
Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Install, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment.
Inspect equipment and perform routine maintenance to prevent failures.
Maintain lighting, plumbing, HVAC, and building infrastructure.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
Document maintenance activities and repairs.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
Follow OSHA regulations and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
