Job summary

EmergencyMD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and functionality of our residential properties in Tacoma, WA. Responsibilities include troubleshooting HVAC and plumbing issues, completing work orders, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Tuesday – Saturday, 8 am – 5 pm

Sawyer Trail Apartments and Townhomes – 17412 44th Avenue East, Frederickson, WA 98446

What We Require

• 1 year or more of previous experience in property management maintenance, building maintenance, or a related trade
• Valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Ability to use a computer and the tracking systems used at the property
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance
• Willingness to comply with all safety regulations
• Ability to work weekends and non‑traditional holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, and crouch as needed
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and more
• Complete work orders and prepare units for new residents
• Rotate on‑call for emergency maintenance
• Order supplies and keep accurate records
• Maintain safety and property standards
