Job summary

Peabody Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Service Manager) for an apartment community in Sharon, MA. You will oversee maintenance operations, evaluate needs, and ensure prompt, high-quality service for residents.

Responsibilities include electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, painting, janitorial and grounds work, plus coordinating vendors and paperwork. On-call coverage after hours, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

Requires High School Diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.
Minimum 5 years in facilities maintenance with supervisory experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service abilities.
On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends and holidays.
Experience coordinating vendors/contractors and handling paperwork.
Ability to respond promptly to maintenance issues.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and address a broad range of maintenance needs to ensure efficient operation.
Perform and oversee electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, locks & keys, carpentry, painting and drywall repair.
Provide janitorial, groundskeeping and snow removal as needed.
Coordinate with vendors/contractors and handle related paperwork.
Respond to maintenance issues in a timely manner.
