Maintenance Engineer – Holiday Inn Express, Donaldsonville

Responsibilities

• Review maintenance problems, complaints and work orders to prioritize and schedule work assignments.
• Monitor and inspect assigned work.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical/mechanical systems and equipment.
• Inspect property to identify potential and current needs.
• Plan and execute ongoing maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with local health, safety, and fire and building inspectors to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis.
• Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.
• Complete maintenance logs.
• Maintain the building exterior sections not serviced by a contractor.
• Recruit, select and train a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Listen and respond to guests' requests or complaints.
• Complete Month End Inventory using the format provided by the General Manager.
