Holiday Inn Express – Scott, LA is seeking a hands-on Hotel Maintenance Engineer to keep the property in top condition. You’ll perform routine and preventative maintenance, handle basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks, and address guest room and public area needs with independence.

We value dependable team players who take pride in a clean, safe, and well-kept property and can manage supplies, tools, and timely repairs. Availability including holidays and weekends is preferred.

Holiday Inn Express in Scott, LA is looking for a dependable Hotel Maintenance Engineer to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, solving problems, and handling a variety of maintenance projects.

Job Responsibilities

The Hotel Maintenance Engineer helps maintain the overall condition and operation of the hotel. Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel

• Troubleshooting and completing minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs

• Painting, sheetrock repair, and general property upkeep

• Completing maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas

• Inspecting equipment and identifying repairs before they become larger issues

• Maintaining tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies

• Picking up or ordering parts and supplies as needed

Experience with basicplumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, sheetrock, or general construction is preferred. Hotel maintenance experience is a plus, but we are also willing to consider someone with strong general maintenance skills who is dependable and willing to learn. Qualified applicants must have an open availability including holidays and weekends.
