Job summary

Kodak Corp is seeking a Machinist for the day shift (7am-3pm) in Columbus, GA. Responsibilities include operating mills, lathes, and other shop tools, reading blueprints, and performing quality inspection with calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges. CAD/CAM familiarity and SAP work order usage are a plus.

The role requires strong math skills, a can-do attitude, and weekend availability when lines are down. LOTO safety and a focus on a clean, safe shop are essential.

Qualifications

Operate machine shop equipment safely and efficiently.
Experience with 2-axis CNC milling using conversational programming.
Read blueprints; CAD/CAM knowledge a plus.
Knowledge of speeds/feeds for stainless, carbon steel, aluminum, plastics.
Maintain clean, safe shop and perform basic maintenance.

Responsibilities

Operate milling machines, lathes, and other shop tools.
Read blueprints and work with CAD/CAM as needed.
Set up jobs with correct speeds and feeds for materials.
Maintain shop cleanliness and perform basic maintenance.
Use precision measuring tools for inspection.
Collaborate with engineering to produce parts from drawings.
Operate forklift and other equipment as required.
Follow LOTO safety procedures.
