Job summary

Open Arms Solutions in Lindenhurst, IL is seeking a compassionate caregiver to provide one-to-one care for a client. Hospice and dementia care experience, as well as experience with a Hoyer lift, are required.

Duties include personal care, mobility assistance, meals, light housekeeping, and meaningful companionship. Shifts are 12 hours, Friday through Monday, with weekend availability based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Hospice and dementia care experience required.
• Hoyer lift experience required.
• Experience in home care, CNA, HHA, DSP, assisted living, nursing home, or similar settings.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass required background screenings
• Nursing students are encouraged to apply.

• Provide safe and respectful hands-on care.

SCHEDULE:

• Friday through Monday, based on client needs




• 12-hour shifts




• Weekend availability, including every other weekend




• Consistent 3-day availability required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 18 years of age or older




• 1+ year of professional caregiving experience




• Experience in home care, CNA, HHA, DSP, assisted living, nursing home, or similar settings




• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation




• Authorized to work in the U.S.




• Ability to pass required background screenings
