Job summary

Open Arms & FCS in Lindenhurst, IL is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide personal care, companionship, and support to residents in a welcoming senior living community.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and able to work in the United States.
• At least 1 year of professional caregiving within the past 2 years.
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID and reliable transportation.
• Able to pass background screenings as required.
• Experience in assisted living or senior care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily activities.
• Help with meals, hydration, and medication reminders.
• Encourage social engagement and meaningful activities.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ condition.
