Offit Kurman, a growing full-service law firm, seeks a capable Litigation Paralegal for its Los Angeles or Century City office to support attorneys through all phases of litigation from investigation to post-trial proceedings. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience and a strong understanding of California state and federal procedures, with excellent organizational and research skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting a litigation practice.
• Strong understanding of California state and federal litigation procedures.
• Working knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, and litigation practices.
• Excellent organizational skills with detailed dockets and case files.
• Strong research skills using legal research and litigation support tools.
• Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven work.
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Manage document collection, preservation, review, organization, and electronic production using litigation support platforms.
• Coordinate intake, tracking, and production of discovery-related requests and documents.
• Prepare and assist with drafting discovery requests, responses, and other litigation documents.
• Maintain detailed discovery dockets and case databases.
• Calendar and track litigation deadlines, court dates, and key case deadlines.
• Assist with case preparation, including hearings, depositions, and trial prep.
• Utilize litigation management tools and trial presentation software as needed.
• Conduct legal and factual research using various research tools.
