You will work with a collaborative team, handle motions, depositions, hearings, and trials, and provide top-tier client service. Compensation ranges from $160,000 to $220,000 DOE with hybrid work and remote options for CA-based attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution.

The Role

The Litigation Attorney will manage a sophisticated civil litigation caseload and play a key role in developing and executing legal strategy.

This is a substantive litigation position for an attorney who enjoys analyzing challenging issues, developing creative approaches, communicating with clients, and taking ownership of complex matters.

Compensation: $160,000 - $220,000 DOE

Qualifications

• We are seeking an experienced litigator who is confident handling complex matters while remaining collaborative, thoughtful, and client-focused.
• Required Qualifications
• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar and in good standing
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience
• Demonstrated experience with motion practice, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Strong client relationship and counseling skills
• Excellent professional judgment and attention to detail
• Ability to independently manage complex litigation matters
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and responsibilities
• Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented approach
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and client service
• Preferred Experience
• Experience in education law is welcome but not required.

• Compensation and Benefits
• $160,000 to $220,000 annual salary, based on experience and qualifications
