Job summary

Rivers Casino is seeking a line cook to prepare food to recipes and customer requests at our Philadelphia facility. You will work with a team to ensure quality and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and flexibility to work shifts, holidays and weekends. Prior kitchen experience is preferred to thrive in our high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends.
• Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes basic ingredients to perform basic cooking techniques according to established recipes; sautéing, grilling, frying, roasting, and/or preparation of basic dough to create pastries, cakes and baked goods
• Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking.
• Observes and tests foods being cooked to determine that it is cooked.
• Carves meats, portions food on serving plates, adds sauces and garnishes to complete food order.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
