Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Life Safety Systems Technician to join the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team at our advanced semiconductor manufacturing facility in Taylor, Texas. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the installation, continuous operation, preventive maintenance, calibration, and emergency troubleshooting of critical facility-wide life safety systems. These encompass toxic gas monitoring systems (TGMS), flame and fire detection arrays, specialized chemical spill alarm systems, and high-tech emergency shutdown controls essential for maintaining a secure and compliant fabrication environment.

Working in a fast-paced, cutting-edge semiconductor fabrication environment, you will execute routine inspections, system certifications, and sensor calibrations to ensure complete operational readiness and full compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory standards (including OSHA, TCEQ, and NFPA).
