Haywood Community College invites applications for an experienced Lead Teacher to join our childcare team at the Regional Center for the Advancement of Children (RCAC). The role emphasizes curriculum planning, classroom leadership, and mentorship to assistant teachers, ensuring high-quality care and learning outcomes in a 5-star NC Pre-K facility on campus.

RCAC serves up to 140 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, offering both full-time and part-time care.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and 3 years of experience in an Early Childhood Education setting.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in B‑K, Early Childhood Education, Child Development and at least 1 year of experience in Early Childhood Education setting.
