Job summary

Cabinet IQ is seeking an Experienced Lead Kitchen & Bath Designer to join our Duluth showroom. You will meet clients on-site, translate needs into tailored layouts using 2020 Design, and guide projects from concept to close.

As the founding Lead Designer, you will help shape our local brand, mentor a remote junior designer, and leverage premium laptops, a world-class CRM, and a brand-new showroom to inspire clients and drive high-ticket sales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of kitchen design and sales experience required.
• Proficient in 2020 Design Software.
• Outgoing, proactive, and professional demeanor.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Construction experience preferred but not required.
• Solid math and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Energetic, dependable, and positive "can-do" attitude.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and curate tailored design and product solutions.
• Meet clients on-site to take field measurements and design dream kitchens and baths using 2020 Design.
• Follow up on leads, quotes, and clients to maximize sales performance.
• Participate in company training and development programs.
• Staff the showroom daily (when not at appointments).
• Build relationships with remodelers, builders, and design professionals through local networking.
