Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an IT Network Technician to ensure smooth operation of voice and data networks at BlueWater Resort and Casino in Parker, AZ. The role covers wiring, network infrastructure, and support for wireless and public Internet networks.

Ideal candidates will have an Associate's Degree or two years of related experience, familiarity with telecom and network equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced casino environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in the related field and/or two-year experience in related field.
• Casino experience preferred.
• Knowledge of computers, and slot machines.

Responsibilities

• Administration and maintenance of the telephone system, including telephone switches and voicemail extensions.
• Understand wiring and switch issues for WLAN, LAN and WAN administration.
• Set up computers for new users and deliver equipment to users in different locations.
• Provide 24/7 emergency coverage as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Tribal laws.
