Job summary

MMI Industrial & Steel in Mesa, Arizona, is hiring experienced ironworkers to support the Amkor Project in Peoria. You will read blueprints, lay out and erect structural steel, and install stairs, rails, and other metalwork.

Candidates must have at least 3 years of ironworking and welding experience, pass a drug test, and be able to work overtime, nights, and weekends. A valid toolset and crane/rigger knowledge are a plus; safety first on job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in ironworking and welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Must pass drug test.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Layout, bolt up, connect and erect structural steel.
• Install steel stairs, railings, fences, and misc. metals.
• Follow safety guidelines and policies.
• Operate crane hoists, rigging, and signaling (certifications a plus).
• Welding, torch cutting, arc gouging, grinding.
• Possess tools and able to pass 3G/4G weld tests.
• Work overtime, nights, and weekends as required.
• Lift and carry objects over 50 lbs.
