Candidates should have strong writing, research, and communication skills, plus five+ years in insurance coverage or complex litigation, a J.D. from an ABA-approved school, and active Michigan bar membership.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in insurance coverage or other complex litigation.
• Experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, taking depositions, and arguing motions.
• J.D. from an ABA-approved law school; good standing in the State Bar of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent insurance carriers on coverage analysis and opinions.
• Handle coverage/bad faith litigation matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and conduct depositions when needed.
• Provide excellent client service and clear communications.
