Job summary

TheKey, LLC is seeking an In-Home Caregiver in the Lincoln, NE area to provide compassionate in-home care and support to clients. You will assist with daily activities, personal care, and mobility while documenting progress and maintaining open communication with the care team.

Ideal candidates have bilingual English/Spanish skills, hands-on caregiving experience (including CNA-related tasks), and a calm, reliable demeanor. A valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are a big plus.
• Hands-on caregiving experience (personal or professional) is strongly preferred, including CNA-related tasks.
• Experience with Alzheimer's or Dementia care is highly beneficial.
• Reliable, adaptable, and compassionate approach is essential.
• Must demonstrate good judgment and calmness in dynamic situations.
• Pass background checks and have U.S. work authorization with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

• Bilingual skills (English / Spanish) are a huge plus!


• Hands-On Caregiving Experience: Previous personal (e.g., caring for a loved one or family member) or professional caregiving experience, specifically assisting with CNA training, bathing, toileting/incontinence, and physical transfers, is strongly preferred.


• Memory Care: Experience supporting individuals living with Alzheimer's or Dementia is a major plus.


• Core Traits: Adaptability, empathy, compassion, and genuine kindness are absolute MUSTs.


• Composure & Judgment: Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain a calm, reassuring presence in dynamic or high-stress situations.


• Reliability: Proven track record of dependability, punctuality, and strict adherence to schedules.


• Screening & Credentials: Proof of U.S. work authorization, ability to pass background checks. Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance, and age 19+.
