Job summary

Energy Pro Heating & Cooling is seeking an Experienced HVAC Technician in Portsmouth, VA. This full-time role covers diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems across South Hampton Roads, with a company vehicle and a standard 8:00 am–5:00 pm schedule, on-call rotation, and potential overtime.

You will document services, communicate findings clearly to customers, and participate in ongoing training in a supportive, family-like environment that promotes

Qualifications

• Physical hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing residential HVAC systems.
• EPA certification required to perform installation and service tasks.
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with customers.

Step into a rewarding career with Energy Pro Heating & Cooling as a full-time Experienced HVAC Technician in Portsmouth, VA.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

You will work a steady 8:00 am - 5:00 pm shift, Monday through Friday, with some on-call responsibilities. Overtime is available, and you'll work every other Saturday, giving you both stability and the chance to earn more.

All that you need is:

• Physical hands-on experience servicing, diagnosing, and repairing residential HVAC systems
• EPA certification
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain, repair, and replace residential split systems, package units, and ductless systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose heating and air conditioning equipment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to serve the South Hampton Roads region

Preferred:

• NATE certification
• 3+ years of field service experience
• Experience answering customer questions, resolving complaints, and providing technical guidance

As you work, you will document your services, maintain accurate job records, and prioritize clear communication with every customer. You will answer their questions and provide multiple service recommendations to ensure their satisfaction.
