We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to maintain, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems. The role involves working with various system parts and mechanisms, replacing defective components, and adjusting controls to optimize performance using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment.

• Competitive pay: $32.00 - $48.00 per hour, depending on experience
• Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with low on-call rotation

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on heating and cooling systems
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, replacing defective parts
• Install refrigeration, air conditioning, heating, pneumatic, and humidity control systems
• Understand and troubleshoot Rooftop Units, Air Handling Units, Wet Systems, Cooling Towers, VAV Boxes, and Variable Frequency Drives
• Build strong customer relationships and understand client needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial HVAC industry
• Knowledge of HVAC theory, practices, tools, and equipment
• EPA Universal certification
• Understanding of refrigeration, pneumatic/DDC control, and air conditioning systems
• Basic electrical knowledge and control systems understanding
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects

Preferred Skills

• Chiller experience
• Experience with package units up to 60 tons
